Hedonskate Events: Nils Jansons Invitational – GGFEST 2013

Are you still hesitating to visit this year`s Ghetto Games (Latvia) and Nils Jansons Invitational? Check what the man himself Nils Jansons has to tell You!

1. Tell us about the Ghetto Games – why this year`s edition will be special as far as rollerblading part is concerned?

So yeah, it’s all happening during 8-11th August in Ventspils, Latvia. Same as last year we are expecting many high class bladers from whole world. It was special last year, it’s gonna be special this year and every year after, because it’s just special- it’s happening in small beautiful city next to the sea in west side of Latvia and during the festival all city is filled with awesome people from all around. We got super sick concrete outdoor skatepark which is gonna have upgrades and everything else to make this comp to be on your top 3 events during summer. Blading contest is taking place during Friday and Saturday. And all kind of activities, chill outs gonna be happening all around city during the weekend.

2. Who have yo invited so far? Who confirmed the presence?

I have invited people. Good people. Just follow NILS JANSONS IVITATIONAL event on Facebook and stay tuned about riders, because official announcement coming soon. I don’t want to say people names before they have got they plane tickets or even checked they plane ticket prices, but i can say u won’t be disappointed in the riders list for sure.

3. The location of the event – Ventspils – what are other attractions of this place?

The most cleanest and nicest city in Latvia. It’s small, but has many things to offer.  I’m pretty sure if there was no Ghetto Games most of u wouldn’t even ever consider coming here. But u just got to come, because u want to. We got vert ramp, sea with super fine sand, fresh air, ladies, Hectors.  It’s hard for me to tell, because i know this place for all my life and it’s just awesome and calm. Ask people who came to Ghetto Games  last year for the first time like Richie Eisler, Dominik Wagner, Josh Glowicki how do they feel about it and I`m pretty sure they can only say the best.

4. Where we can find some info about the accommodation etc?

World wide web could help u a lot. There is gonna be camping area which is always good.  It’s a small city so where ever u can find place to stay it’s not far from the skatepark. Just take a sleeping bag and u will be alright. ;)
