What’s up on WE TOUR#3: Marcin Kopiec

Rollerblading tour in Romania? For most people it will sound rather exotic and weird. I was full of anxiety when I was heading there and didn’t know what to expect. Yet after few first days spent in the Dracula’s country I can easily say that all stereotypes created in Poland about the Romanian society and the level of life there are not true at all. For 8 days I had a chance to visit plenty of small cities, mountain resorts, the capital – Bucharest and I have nothing but positive feelings about it. The bus in which we are spending most of our time is a great place to integration, while “splif breaks” which are more frequent that my cigarette breaks only makes everything easier.

The level of skating is really high, yet the spots are not the easiest ones. At the beginning the weather sucked, but now everything has changed. The organizers of the tour are so juiced now that sometimes they forget about any warm-ups and are taking us to hc, demanding spots straight away. For me, the ordinary blader from Gliwice such idea was too overwhelming. Yet the others didn’t have any difficulties with that and were super juiced even after long night travel or early wake up. What`s up with the polish guys in the tour? Bidet got an injury while doing super stylish fakie 720 on some nice set of stairs, which I guess will put him off for the rest of the tour. Madej is skating all the time and gets clip after clip. Gufi tries not to skip any spot – he skates everywhere and does it super good. Radzik is offended but together with Tomo are looking the spots for themselves and collect good clips. Right now I`m sitting at Mili`s house, the temperature is around 40 degrees and we are going to skate, hopefully there is another good session coming up!
